Merry Christmas and Wrapping up 2015

While I have your attention before this week gets absolutely crazy — MERRY CHRISTMAS! I will keep all of you in my prayers as you spend tons of extra time and energy doing great ministry. Especially on Christmas Eve, when there will no doubt be a chance to connect with people who are new to your church, may God fill you with courage, compassion, and joy (whether you are a pastor/staff or not!).

As this year winds down and another is right around the corner, I can’t help but say thank you. Whether you have been with this site since the relaunch in January or you are here thanks to the podcast launch this fall, I am grateful for your time and attention. Interacting with you–learning from you, hearing what’s working and what’s not working, and especially hearing your ideas and dreams for ministry–has been awesome. I hope that you will continue along this journey with me and our budding community in 2016!

Since we will all be busy over the next week and a half with ministry and family, this site is taking a brief Christmas break.

If you find yourself with free time to kill, you can catch up on episodes of “Art of the Sermon” (including the newest episode from last week), check out some other great podcasts on my recommended list, or check out the list below of the top 5 most viewed posts of 2015. If you missed any of them, now is a great time to catch up! I will be back January 1 with a new episode of “Art of the Sermon.”

Until then, have a Merry Christmas and a time of rest with your friends and family. May God continue to bless you and your ministries!

Peace,
Dan
