Reformation Sunday offers us the opportunity to look at Blind Bartimaeus and Martin Luther as examples of the work God can do in and through those willing to use their voices. However, at the same time, we must challenge ourselves to try on all the perspectives in these stories.
If the answer to Jesus’ question, “Who do the people say that I am?” leaves us concerned, it is time to apply that question to the areas of ministry upon which we are relying.
