There are many gray areas in the life and practice of faith. Following God and leading others to do so has inherent uncertainty built in. However, we must not use this as a defense mechanism or excuse to draw comfortable conclusions when it seems God is calling us elsewhere.
What role do we want worship to play in our community? What role does worship actually play in our community? These are just the first of a few guiding questions that will help us refocus and refine our approach to worship.
Planning worship for a long weekend can be difficult. We are often limited by the reduced availability of volunteers, and we can become discouraged or distracted by the anticipated lower attendance. However, how we approach these weekends reveals our true beliefs about worship.
Faith without works is dead–whether those works are buying someone a meal or following through on the dream God planted in your heart.
The only thing guaranteed to shut off conversation in the future is the decision not to have conversation.
